Welcome to the new and improved Operation Elusive Concept website. Even though I no longer draw the comic strip on a weekly basis - I'm sorry, I just don't have the time to keep up with it anymore - I felt that the site itself needed to remain on the Internet for people to read and download the old strips, grab some of the free downloads, and maybe like my art enough to buy one of the books or maybe hire me to do some commission work for them.

The old website had been online in the same old, boring design since 1995. In more recent months, some of my visitors have noticed that the site seems to go offline around the middle of the month. The reason for this was not that I shut it down or didn't pay my hosting bills, it's because I only get to use so much bandwidth each month with the free hosting. However, I have now relocated the site's contents onto another domain that I own / admin, which has unlimited bandwidth and a huge amount of storage space. The old link will get you to the new location and there should be no more site outages.

You will also notice that the site's layout has profoundly changed and that this new layout has less links than the old one did. That's because I removed some of the content, such as the art and photography section, and moved around and consolidated some of the others. The "about" section now contains not only the information about the strip, but also the "how it's done" section that used to have its own page.

All artwork and photography is now located in my Deviant Art account, which serves as an online portfolio of sorts. If you like photography and various forms of art (not all military related), go check that out, or click on some of the samples below.
